Spring Reset Refresh

Day Two

Day 2 Blog Post

A Simple Bathroom Refresh for a Cleaner, Calmer Start to Spring

Bathrooms may be small, but they can hold a surprising amount of clutter. Half-used lotions. Old makeup. Extra bottles. Products you bought with good intentions and never touched again.

If your bathroom cabinets are feeling crowded, spring is a great time to do a simple refresh.

The goal is not perfection. The goal is to create a space that feels clean, calm, and easier to use every day.

Start by removing what is no longer useful

The easiest place to begin is with expired or unused products.

Check:

  • Makeup
  • Skincare
  • Medications
  • Hair products
  • Empty or nearly empty bottles

If it is expired, dried out, broken, or something you never reach for, it may be time to let it go.

Clear one drawer or cabinet

You do not have to tackle the whole bathroom in one day. Choose one area:

  • The main drawer
  • Under the sink
  • The medicine cabinet
  • One shelf

Take everything out, wipe it down, and only put back what you actually use and want there.

Bathrooms are often more peaceful when they are less crowded. Fewer items on the counter means less visual stress and easier cleaning, too.

Freshen the surfaces

After decluttering, do a quick clean of the spaces that affect how the room feels:

  • Mirror
  • Sink
  • Faucet
  • Toilet area
  • Countertop

A fresh mirror and clean counter can make a bathroom feel reset in just a few minutes.

Keep products simple

I’m a big believer in making home care easier, not more complicated. Bathrooms especially do not need fifteen specialty sprays and a bucket full of frustration.

A few Norwex tools I love for bathroom refresh days:

These help simplify the process so you can clean the room and move on with your life.

Replace what helps the room feel fresh

This is also a great day to:

  • Put out fresh towels
  • Empty the trash
  • Restock toilet paper
  • Remove items from the counter that do not need to live there

It is amazing how a few quick changes can make the whole room feel more peaceful.

Today’s Mini Challenge

Choose one:

  • Clear one bathroom drawer
  • Toss expired products
  • Wipe down the sink and mirror

Small progress still counts.

Final thought

Your bathroom may not be the biggest room in the house, but it can absolutely affect how your day feels. A little less clutter and a little more simplicity can go a long way.
